Dr. Fernandez was inducted as the 9th President of the Philippine Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (PAED) on March 3, 2011 at Dusit Hotel, Makati City by no less than PAED’s founding president Dr. Alfredo Valera. He also swore in her executive board and 101 PAED graduates, who became new PAED members.

The following two years of Dr. Fernandez’ administration saw her immersed in furthering PAED’s mandate to attract enrollees to sign up for the school’s curriculum, especially the ever popular PAED101, as well as extend PAED’s tutorial services to fellow dental professionals across the Philippines.

Under Dr. Fernandez leadership, two significant activities made PAED history: the first PAED-Mindanao Aesthetic Congress in Davao City, chaired by Dr. Virgilio Vasquez and the first PAED-Visayas Aesthetic Congress in Cebu City, chaired by Dr. Anne Mary Gutierrez. PAED Lakbay Aral in 2013, chaired by Dr. Ricardo Gatbonton, headed Down Under to Sydney and Melbourne to check up on the Aussie esthetic dental scene.

Dr. Fernandez and her team’s labors bore fruit during PDA’s National Dental Health Month in 2012 when she won PDA’s Most Outstanding Affiliate President and PAED was named second runner up for Most Outstanding Affiliate.

Dr. Fernandez now resides in the US with her husband and children.
