Dr. Cheung graduated Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of the East in 1979, the same year she passed the Philippine Dentistry Board Examination. She went on to pass the Hong Kong Dentist Licensure Examination in 1982.

Dr. Cheung has been in private practice since 1980, focusing on Endodontics, Esthetic Dentistry and Prosthodontics. Her objective has been to provide training for the proper technical skills to achieve the correct occlusion of the patient.

Dr. Cheung is a firm believer of continuous education. She completed the UCLA Post-Graduate Aesthetic Continuum, California in 2009, the UCLA Post-Graduate Endodontics Course and the UCLA Post Graduate Occlusion Course, California in 2011. She also completed courses at The Dawson Academy, Florida in Functional Occlusion, From TMJ to Smile Design – Examination and Records in 2014, Achieving Predictable Esthetic Results – The Art and Science of Equilibration – Treatment Planning Functional Esthetic Excellence in 2016 and Anterior Esthetics – Differential Diagnosis and Treatment Planning of TMD.

Dr. Cheung is a member of several professional bodies including the Philippine Dental Association and Philippine Prosthodontic Society. She is an affiliate Member of the American Dental Association, a Life Member of the Philippine Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and an Alumni of The Dawson Academy

Mindful of her civic duties, Dr. Cheung is a Volunteer Member of the Tzu Chi Foundation Philippines, handing the Dentistry Section and is responsible for organizing charitable dental missions and environmental protection activities.
