Dr. Fernandez is a member of the Philippine Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (PAED), which she currently serves as Board Member, Academy of General Dentistry, Philippine Society for Orthodontics, International Association of Orthodontics and Quezon City Dental Society.

Her post graduate training and workshop experience in esthetic dentistry include the Center for Orthodontic Training Society in 1982, Surgery Training under Dr. Elmer Escoto, Periodontics Training, PAED 101, Batch 5 and Basic Occlusion under Dr. J. Sagwa.

She also enrolled in the UCLA Esthetic Dental Continuum Education in Los Angeles, California, completing Level 1 and Level 2 courses in 2009.

She has been in private practice since 1987 at the Dr. Evelyn Dental Clinic and Acuzar Fernandez Dental Clinic in Quezon City.
